Teach students about energy and energy conservation using Energy and You™!

Oil and natural gas currently used to produce electricity will be depleted in our students’ lifetime.  Now, more than ever, it is essential for our students to learn about energy conservation, energy efficiency, and alternative energy resources. New technologies using renewable resources must be developed to take the place of fossil fuels.

So, what can schools do? They can teach students about energy and energy conservation using Energy and You™!!!

The San Diego County Office of Education has developed standards-aligned curriculum and materials on energy efficiency and alternative energy resources. These will be provided to teachers at no cost.  Energy and You™ is available in four different units: Primary, Upper Elementary, Middle School, and High School.
