INSTRUCTIONS TO UPDATE THE RESOURCE CATALOG

You can submit comments and changes to update the information that we include in the San Diego Science Alliance Resource Catalog. On each organization or resource profile page, we provide a link to Comment on this Organization or Comment on this Program/Resource. Click on these links to obtain an on-line comment form, fill in your changes (all fields marked with a red asterisk must be filled in), click "Submit" and we'll update the database for you. To make changes to several programs, go ahead and find each profile page then make the changes for each page.

TO FIND AN ORGANIZATION PROFILE RECORD

1. Go to http://www.sdsa.org/

2. Click on "Resources" in the top navigation bar.

3. Click on "Find Organizations"

4. Type in the name of your organization and click "Search." Click on the name of your organization in the Search Results list. This will bring up your organization's record in the Resource Catalog.

TO UPDATE AN ORGANIZATION PROFILE RECORD

If any of the information about your organization needs to be changed on the organization profile page:

1. Click on the "Comment on this Organization" link found at the upper right of the page.

2. Fill in the form with the changes needed. All fields marked with a red asterisk must be filled in.

3. Click on "Submit" to send your information to SDSA. They will make changes to your Resource Catalog Record.

TO UPDATE A RESOURCE PROFILE RECORD

You will need to display the resource profile record. From an Organization profile page, scroll down to the heading "Resource(s) Provided by this Organization" to view a list of links to resources and click on one of the links to view a resource profile page. Or you could search the catalog for the resource you want to change. To update the resource profile information:

1. Click on "Comment on this Program/Resource" link found at the upper right of the page

2. Fill in the form with the changes needed. All fields marked with a red asterisk must be filled in.

3. Click on "Submit" to send your information to SDSA. They will make changes to your Resource Catalog Record.
