SDSA provides 7th–12th grade students the opportunity to learn more
about and use basic skills that are important to modern robotics through innovative
programs like Botball and FIRST Robotics.
Emerging industry practices are utilizing robotics in many ways.
Robotics programs and local resources are networked to provide learning experiences
that engage students in learning the practical applications of science, technology,
engineering and mathematics.
Students in upper elementary through high school, teachers and
industry mentors interact in the design, basic programming and building of
robots that are utilized in remote sensing and competitions.
