BE WiSE is accepting your “Notice of Intent” to attend the

BE WiSE Biotech Bootcamp
August 11-15, 9am - 3pm
Miramar Community College

BE WiSE Alumnae entering grades 10, 11 or 12 who will complete one year of Biology or Chemistry by June 30, 2008 are invited to complete a “Notice of Intent” to participate in BE WiSE Biotech Bootcamp.

To participate in this intensive educational experience you must commit to participate in the full program.  This means that you must arrive on time and participate in the full day program, Monday through Friday, no exceptions. 

We can accommodate 24 girls in BE WiSE Biotech Bootcamp, if you meet the requirements, please complete the “Notice of Intent” form, include a check for $25* and submit this by May 5, 2008.  We hope to accommodate everyone who intends to participate, but if we have an abundance of Intent notices, we will select participants based upon their complete “Notice of Intent” form and history of participation in BE WiSE programs.

*BE WiSE will not cash this check, it will be returned to you on the first day of BE WiSE Biotech Bootcamp.  BE WiSE does not charge for programs, but in this case the $25 check is part of your Notice of Intent for this intensive program for which we MUST be assured that you are committed to fully participate.  If you decide not to participate, your check will be returned to you.  If you commit to participate and do not show up, your check will be cashed.
