EYH - ROCKS!*
(* Realizing Our Creativity and Knowledge of Science) an EYH Alumnae Program

EYH ROCKS! will make a difference for talented middle school girls from diverse backgrounds and areas of San Diego who otherwise would not have opportunities to learn directly from scientists and from each other.

Eligibility: Girls in grades 6 or 7 when the attend the EYH Conference will be invited the next year, when in 7th or 8th grade, to participate in EYH ROCKS!

Three separate Saturday science experiences would be planned that will accommodate approximately 30 – 40 participants each for the girls in 7th or 8th grade

EYH ROCKS! 2007–2008:

  • December 8, 2007: CRES (Conservation & Research for Endangered Species), the research arm of the San Diego Zoological Society Photos

  • February 8, 2008: Science Overnight aboard the USS Midway Photos 1 Photos 2
