The BEWiSE program is made possible with the support from volunteers, donations and grants. The BE WiSE Programs recognizes with thanks it's important partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education's Science Unit to assure outreach to every middle school in San Diego County
STEP UP Program- Team BE WiSEBE WiSE, in partnership with the Society for Women Engineers (SWE), is offering a unique opportunity for 10th and 11th graders to explore the ways that engineers can use their skills in the service of others. STEP Up (Service Through Engineering Program) is designed to do show young women how they can make a meaningful difference in their community by thinking like an engineer, collaborating like an engineer, and creating like an engineer. The BE WiSE team will design and build a project for Rady Children's Hospital using the basic principles of engineering project management. The team will be supported by a mentor from SWE, and a Teacher of Record from the BE WiSE Program.
