Brief Description:
The Mission of the Algebraic Thinking Institute (ATI) is to provide substantive instruction in mathematics and associated teaching strategies for secondary teachers who may have limited college mathematics background and/or limited experience teaching beginning algebra.
ATI also provides more experienced teachers with opportunities to enhance their knowledge of mathematics and pedagogy to support instruction consistent with the California and NCTM Standards.
