Wetland Avengers

Brief Description:
1. 3-D Wetland - Build a 3 dimensional wetland and compare a pristine environment with one including negative human impacts.
Cost: $150.00
2. Why Wetlands? - Students conduct a series of experiments to demonstrate the function and importance of wetland habitats.
Cost: $200.00
3. Wetland Bingo/ Wetland Web - Play bingo games and learn native and non-native invasive plants, and wetland birds. Form a wetland web, learning about food webs and what happens when organisms are negatively affected by human activities.
Cost: $150.00
4. TWO OPTIONS
Wetland Avengers
- Take a field trip to a local wetland site. Become part of a "mission impossible" to save the wetlands. Participate in restoration.
Cost: $200.00
Feathered Feast — Students challenge each other in feeding frenzy game to understand how birds' adaptations help them to survive.
Cost: $150.00
