Salk Institute Mobile Science Lab

Brief Description:
The Salk Institute is a world renowned laboratory on the cutting edge of genetics research. The program, entitled "The Week of the Cell" brings a team of Salk Institute Scientists to your classroom for a period of three days. During this time, up to four classes have the opportunity to learn through hands-on research about cells, DNA, and genetics. This exciting program, ideally suited to meet the new Science Content Standards for 7th grade, comes directly to you school and is brought to you at no charge.
