Science Teaching Internships

Brief Description:
Professors Pat Cegelka in the College of Education and Kathleen Fisher in the College of Sciences at San Diego State University have received a $1.3 million grant from the U.S. Office of Post Secondary Education to improve the quantity, quality and diversity of local educators, addressing a critical shortage of accredited science, math, bilingual and special-education teachers in many of the region's school districts.
Graduating seniors and post-graduates in science are being recruited.
