Organization Profile:
The American Lung Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties (ALA SD/IC)has served the community since 1946. ALA SD/IC is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization. The mission of the Asociation is to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. Programs and services are offered in many aspects of lung health including tobacco use prevention and smoking cessation, lung diseases such as asthma, emphysema and tuberculosis, and indoor and outdoor air quality. Programs for schools and students include Kids for Clean Air and SCAMP Camp for kids with asthma.
