Organization Profile:
Seeds for Change offers a FREE series of captivating, educational presentations as well as resources on animal and environmental issues for grades six through college and adult in San Diego County.
Our dynamic, thought-provoking presentations encourage student participation and critical thinking by combining lively discussions with short videos, visual aids, and activities. Discussions are also designed to encourage active participation and leadership in the County of San Diego by providing volunteer opportunities with community organizations.
Programs are flexible in length and format to meet the interests of the audience, and can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of your school and group. Seeds for Change is available to present to any size class, school assembly programs, afterschool club meetings, youth centers, libraries and religious or community organizations.
If you are unsure which program to request, try one of our introductory programs. We are pleased to provide multiple presentations. There is no limit to the number of programs you may request.
Seeds for Change is funded by the Komie Foundation in cooperation with the International Institute for Humane Education.
There is no charge, but donations are always appreciated so that Seeds for Change may continue its work to educate others and create a more peaceful society.
These programs have been extremely popular with science teachers throughout San Diego. Book your programs early for the upcoming year!
