CalMat Co. is the largest owner and producer of aggregates in California. It produces construction aggregates, hot- mix asphalt, and ready-mixed concrete used in public, commercial and residential construction throughout California, Arizona, and New Mexico. To better serve customers and reduce the high cost of transporting heavy materials, our nearly 1.9 billion tons of aggregates reserves are located near major urban centers. An integral part of our activities is the reclamation of previously-mined sites for environmental protection, habitat restoration, and other productive uses that generate a secondary income flow.
