California Mineral Education Foundation is a charitable, non-profit corporation that was founded in 1991 to provide programs on rocks, minerals and geology to California's K-12 teachers. Each year, the Foundation organizes two, two-day conferences that are co-sponsored by the Foundation, the California State University sytems and the California Division of Mines and Geology.
