Description:
ELDA Spotlight on Education Speaker Series 2007-2008, produced by the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Educational Sciences, will focus on leading reform in mathematics and science education at the middle and high school levels.

Who Should Attend:
* Teams of teachers and principals
* Site leadership teams including teacher leaders and administrators
* Site principals and vice principals
* Central office administrators
* Superintendents
* Professors of educational administration
(Teams are highly encouraged and receive a reduction in fees)

Teams will be motivated to:
* Strengthen their professional learning communities around science and mathematics
* Integrate math and science concepts into all content areas
* Lead active in-depth learning for understanding
* Effectively use assessment data to better inform teaching decisions
* Develop communication strategies and strengthen collaboration within and between teams

Check-In, Reception and Hors d’oevres, 4:30pm-6:00pm
Speaker Presentation, followed by Q & A, 6:00pm-7:30pm
