Request for Nominations - San Diego Science Alliance Partnership Awards, 2008

It’s time to recognize partnerships that result in enhanced science teaching and learning opportunities in San Diego County!

The Science Alliance Annual Partnership Awards, 2008 is requesting nominations for: Teachers, Administrators, Partners, and Companies that have fostered partnership to enhance K-12 science education in San Diego County.

Two awards will be given in each of the four categories: Teacher, Administrator, Partners and Companies. The use of partnerships involving organizations of the San Diego Science Alliance’s Resource Catalog will be recognized.

Nomination Deadline: April 25, 2008, 5:00 pm

Please include the following information in your nomination for SDSA Partnership Awards:

* Category (choose one): Teacher, Administrator, Partner, or Company

* Name of Individual or Company: Include name, mailing address, phone number, email address.

* Description of Exemplary Efforts: How did these partnership efforts increase the science education opportunities for K-12 students or teachers in San Diego County? (Please include dates of programs, number of students or teachers reached, partnerships formed and grade levels impacted.) Limit 100 words.

* Your name, address, phone, and E-mail.

* Two brief statements supporting this nomination from others. Include their names, addresses and phone numbers.


Awards will be presented on Thursday, May 22, 2008 - 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the SDSA Partnership Award/Community Event held at Amylin Pharmaceutical.
