The Society of Women Engineers, San Diego section is now accepting applications for scholarships.

Each year, SWE sponsors multiple scholarships for women that are high school seniors and college freshman, pursuing (or planning to pursue) a degree in engineering. The total amount of the scholarship varies from year to year, but is typically significant enough to help a student through their first or second year of college.

College Applicant Requirements:
- Be a woman enrolled as an engineering student at an accredited college or university in San Diego County.

High School Applicant Requirements:
-Be a woman who has been accepted for enrollment in an accredited engineering school and will have graduated from a San Diego County Unified, Escondido Unified, Poway Unified, or Temecula Valley Unified High School.

** The deadline for the scholarship submittal is April 18, 2008**
