ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS:

The Center for Ethics in Science and Technology and the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center Are Partnering to Offer an Invitation-only Program During Computer Ethics Week.

MySpace or Your Space: A Look at Privacy in Online Forums
Tuesday, July 10
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

One teacher and 2-3 student representatives from each school are invited to register for a special program to explore a number of interesting questions including:

* Who reads what is posted on personal blogs?
* How might casual information posted today affect job prospects tomorrow?
* Would a code of conduct in online forums protect privacy or be an invasion?

Dr. David Brin, renowned science fictor author of "The Transparent Society" and recipient of multiple Hugo and Nebula awards, will lead the event with an engaging presentation and facilitate a period of intriguing debate in which your students will participate.

This event is free for everyone and includes a light breakfast.
Please RSVP before July 6 by logging on to:
