TeacherTECH Summer 2008 - Using Apple GarageBand™ Effectively in Your Classroom

Description:
GarageBand™ has many purposes for educators. Podcasts, soundtracks, musical compositions, sound editing/mixing, as well as the spoken word, are just some of the many uses of this amazing program. There are a number of communities sharing GarageBand™-made music, many by and for students. In this beginning workshop, basic instruction will be combined with project-based exploration, with great flexibility based on individual needs.

** Note: You will need to bring your own Mac laptop to this workshop.

Course fee: $45.00

Professional Development Credit is also available via UCSD Extension for $55.00 per unit. This is a one-unit course.
