Limited to first 12 adult participants.


Join us for a Nature Writing Workshop to explore coastal Encinitas as a place to inspire creative and imaginative writing.

Get ready for botany, birdwatching, and outdoor exploration, while enhancing your poetry, fiction and nature writing skills.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for light hiking. Bring water, journal, and pen.


Workshop will be led by Jan D. Wellik, author of the newly published, Nature Writing Field Guide for Teachers, and Executive Director of Eco Expressions, an environmental writing program for youth and adults based in San Diego. www.EcoExpressions.org


Workshop is open to adults of all abilities. Previous writing experience is not necessary.
