· Eleven charter schools are scheduled to be in operation at the opening of the 2000-2001 school year. Information on these sites will be posted on the ODE website in mid-July.
· Oregon Public Charter School Incentive Grant applications will be available the third week in August. If you would like to be on the list to receive one, please contact Joni Gilles at (503) 378-8004 ext. 274 or joni.gilles@state.or.us.
· A Grant Writer's Workshop will be held in mid-September to assist charter school developers in the writing of their Incentive Grant application. Further details will be posted on the ODE website.
· The Oregon Public Charter School Task Force continues to meet and discuss issues involving the implementation of SB 100
· The Oregon Public Charter School Information Packet and Handbook will be available in early September.
