SPACE is Coming to the Aerospace Museum of California
Sacramento , Calif.
February-September 2009

Bring your students to see SPACE: A Journey to Our Future. The artifacts and exhibits are part of the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum collection. SPACE introduces students to some of the amazing discoveries of past and current space explorations and opens their imaginations to the future of human spaceflight. Sacramento is the only West Coast stop for this unique exhibition. It's perfect for all grade levels and curriculums.

SPACE is a real hands-on learning experience:
* Touch actual rocks from the lunar surface of the moon and Mars
* See real artifacts from the space program, as well as displays on the new spacecraft that will take us to the Moon and beyond
* Walk through a lunar base camp - a full-size space habitat and work pod
* Surround yourself with the universe in a 360-degree theatre

A special TEACHERS' GUIDE created for grade levels K-2, 3-5 and 6-12 and other materials will be available to prepare your students for their visit.

Student group admission is $9.95/student (this is a 15% savings for groups of 10 or more). Includes admission to the exhibition and entrance into the recently opened Aerospace Museum of California. One chaperone required per 10 number of students.
